The strength of a network
WebForce3 is a network of 50 schools in the social and solidarity economy in France (metropolitan and overseas), Belgium, Luxembourg and Morocco, which offers training in digital professions without any prerequisites. WebForce3 offers lifelong training courses and support towards employment with an innovative methodology and framework. The network of schools is aimed at a wide range of people: job seekers, employees, students, school dropouts, entrepreneurs, retraining, self-taught. Since its creation, WebForce3 has trained and accompanied more than 8,000 people throughout the country. WF3 aligns its digital education mission with its CSR commitments by adopting a measurement and improvement approach for its sites. We asked Nicolas Chagny, its CEO, three questions.
Why is the impact of digital technology important to you?
Digital technology is a fabulous social and energy transition lever, but controlling the energy consequences of digital technology is essential today. Improving our footprint is at the heart of our commitments. That's why we wanted to look at our digital footprint and include this approach in our 2021-2025 impact plan, which groups together our commitments on access to training for people who are far from employment, return to employment, support for the digital transition of companies and responsible digital.
Why did you choose fruggr.io?
Fruggr allows us to have a precise vision of our digital footprint, at any time, whether for our website or for our WebForce Life platform. It also gives us levers to reduce it in a concrete way. In addition to providing environmental indicators, the platform also provides social indicators, which give us a global view of our impact.
How do you project your sustainable transformation?
Fruggr allows us to instill an eco-design approach in our teams and with our partners. It is in this same spirit that all our training courses integrate digital responsibility, wherever relevant. Thanks to Fruggr, we can measure objectively to transform our commitments into action.
